On Saturday Rocky Ford take on Ellicott at HOMECOMING at 1:30 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Rocky Ford suffered a grim 8-42 defeat to Crowley County last Friday. Rocky Ford's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior David Trujillo, who rushed for 52 yards and 1 touchdown. Trujillo has now scored at least one touchdown in the past 3 games.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Ellicott's tilt against Peyton. Ellicott were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-34.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
