Basketball Recap: Kimora Wooden Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mckenzie

Rossville Christian Academy's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They took down the McKenzie Rebels 48-30. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Rebels are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rossville Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kimora Wooden out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The match was Wooden's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Danae Kennedy, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Rossville Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-13 record this season. As for McKenzie, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Rossville Christian Academy will square off against Starkville Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McKenzie, they will challenge Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
