The Richfield Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-45 victory over Mackay. The win was familiar territory for Richfield who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Kasey Hendren, who scored 20 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Richfield's points. Another player making a difference was Malia Kent, who scored 12 points along with seven steals.
Richfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Mackay, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield will square off against Carey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mackay is on the road again on Monday and play against Butte County at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Butte County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
