KIPP Legacy had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.3 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They blew past Milan 70-32 on the road. The result was nothing new for KIPP Legacy, who have now won seven contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keaton Weter, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Anthony Bolden, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
KIPP Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Milan, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
KIPP Legacy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Barstow at 7:30 p.m. Milan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Shelby at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
