After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atlantic Christian, Berean Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Sports Leadership & Management Cobras with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Berean Christian took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-10.
Elizabeth Skelton paced Berean Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Skelton got some help from Olivia Gard and her 13 assists. Gard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
The victory got Berean Christian back to even at 1-1.
Coming up, Berean Christian will be playing at home against Pine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
