Several Bulls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Solei Sowell, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Claire Kelley was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Tampa Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Bush, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Natalia Long, who scored 18 points.
Wiregrass Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tampa Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Wiregrass Ranch will head out on the road to face off against Sunlake at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Sunlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Wednesday. As for Tampa Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Land O' Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
