Softball Recap: Kathleen Wins Going Away Against Discovery

Kathleen had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Discovery on Monday. The Kathleen Red Devils were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Discovery Spartans. The Red Devils not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21, 2024.

Kathleen's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Discovery, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kathleen will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Haines City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Discovery, they will venture away from home to face off against Lake Gibson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Discovery has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
