The Red Springs Red Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 84-54 win over Midway. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Red Springs has posted since December 12, 2023.
It was another big night for Makhi Arthur, who scored 30 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Kaedon Porter was another key contributor, scoring 25 points.
Red Springs' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10. As for Midway, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Springs will stay at home for another game and welcome West Bladen at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. West Bladen will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak. As for Midway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Pauls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pauls is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
