The Bessemer City Tigers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Paul W. Bryant 41-12 on the road. Considering Bessemer City has won three matches by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bessemer City's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Paul W. Bryant, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bessemer City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Spanish Fort at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Spanish Fort knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Bessemer City likes a good challenge. As for Paul W. Bryant, they will head out on the road to face off against Demopolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Demopolis will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
