Cooper Clark turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Villa Grove is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Clark and Villa Grove will head out to take on Unity Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are a perfect 3-0 against the Lions going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
