West Las Vegas has gone a perfect 4-0 against Navajo Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dons will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. West Las Vegas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, West Las Vegas got the win against Santa Fe Indian by a conclusive 9-1. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Estevan Collins was incredible, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-3. Those six RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Ortega, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: West Las Vegas lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Navajo Prep came tearing into Thursday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Hawks.
The team relied heavily on Jashyro Bileen, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Navajo Prep is 9-2 when Bileen posts two or more runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Arviso, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Navajo Prep pushed their record up to 13-13 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for West Las Vegas, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
Everything went West Las Vegas' way against Navajo Prep when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as West Las Vegas made off with a 9-3 victory. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
