The Dunbar Crimson Tide scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 90-6 victory over Bard at home. Dunbar has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Emorean Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jamia Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
The victory (which was Dunbar's seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Bard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Dunbar's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Cardozo at 5:30 p.m. on February 7th. Cardozo comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Bard is on the road again on Friday and plays Coolidge at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Bard comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last eight games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
