The Stern Titans won the last time they faced the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers, and things went their way on Monday too. Stern slipped by Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus 51-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Stern.
Stern can attribute much of their success to Vince Villanueva, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Villanueva has scored all season. George Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Stern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-12.
Stern will take on Animo De La Hoya at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Animo De La Hoya is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, they will head out on the road to challenge Smidt Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
