They really took it to Lowcountry Leadership for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-14 win at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-2.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan Dundon, who scored 14 points along with 8 steals. Dundon is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Caroline Mcgee, who scored 9 points along with 15 rebounds and 8 steals.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will take on Charleston Math & Science at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Charleston Math & Science comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will head out on the road to face off against Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
