The Paramus Spartans can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Fort Lee by a score of 60-52. For Paramus, this counts as revenge for the 56-52 defeat Fort Lee walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2019.
Despite the loss, Fort Lee still got an impressive performance from Guy Vickers, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vickers has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Devin Jang, who scored 13 points.
Paramus' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for Fort Lee, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-12.
Paramus will be playing at home against Ramapo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ramapo presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Paramus in New Jersey (Ramapo is ranked 25th, while Paramus is ranked 275th). As for Fort Lee, they will square off against Ridgefield Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
