After two weeks on the road, Atlantic is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Red Oak at 7:00 PM. Atlantic will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Atlantic have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Shenandoah with a sharp 28-7 victory. Atlantic were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Red Oak suffered a grim 14-35 defeat to Greene County last Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Red Oak.
Atlantic's win lifted them to 3-5 while Red Oak's defeat dropped them down to 4-5. We'll see if Atlantic's success rolls on or if Red Oak are able to steal their positive momentum.
