Danvers was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Fenwick Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 While Bishop Fenwick got the win, Danvers sure made them earn it: two sets took extra rallies. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 26-24, 26-28,  27-25.
 Gabriella Lindeman paced Danvers' offense, picking up 11 kills. Lindeman got some help from  Isabella DeSouza and her 19 assists. Lindeman was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with eight aces.
Danvers' loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Bishop Fenwick, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
 Danvers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Fenwick, they have already played their next matchup,  a  3-1  win against Greater Lowell Tech on the 30th.
