The Flanagan Falcons won the last time they faced the Hallandale Chargers, and things went their way on Friday too. Flanagan blew past Hallandale 41-8 on the road. Flanagan pushed the score to 34-8 by the end of the third, a deficit Hallandale had little chance of recovering from.
Amir Collings had a dynamite game for Flanagan, throwing for 312 yards and six touchdowns. Flanagan also got help from Rhanyam Kernizan who showed off his sure hands for 138 receiving yards.
The victory makes it two in a row for Flanagan and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8-1 Somerset Academy and 1-8 Hallandale. As for Hallandale, their defeat was their fourth straight at home , which bumped their record down to 1-8.
Flanagan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hallandale also has no future games currently scheduled.
