Soccer Recap: Norfolk Falls Short Against Ranked Lincoln Southwest

Norfolk faced Lincoln Southwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Silver Hawks, falling 10-0. Norfolk haven't had much luck with Lincoln Southwest recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Norfolk's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lincoln Southwest, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norfolk will welcome Kearney at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kearney's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Norfolk's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln Southwest, they will host Lincoln North Star at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
