Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kanab walked away with it. They never let the Grand County Red Devils get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kanab got a great performance from Kyan Lyman as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave Lyman a new career-high.

At the plate, Sayer Fenus was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kanon Virostko, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Kanab always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grand County only posted an OBP of .211.

The victory was the 11th in a row for Kanab, bringing their record up to 21-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Grand County, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

As of now, neither Kanab nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
