Basketball Recap: Hermiston's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

Hermiston was the 81-74 winner over Ellensburg when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Hermiston Bulldogs lost to the Ellensburg Bulldogs on the road by a 61-46 margin on Saturday. The contest marked Hermiston's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss snapped Hermiston's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. As for Ellensburg, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hermiston will venture away from home to take on Coeur d'Alene at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ellensburg, they will head out to challenge Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ellensburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Quincy likes a good challenge.
