Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Pleasant Ridge Rams by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Ravens in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Christ Prep Academy at 4:30 p.m. on April 3. As for Pleasant Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 defeat against Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on the 24th.
