Forsyth Country Day strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Covenant Day Lions as they made off with an 84-60 win. The Furies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Forsyth Country Day got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Q Williams IV out in front who posted 17 points along with seven assists and four steals. Those seven assists gave Williams IV a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Max Van Weerdhuizen, who had 17 points and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Forsyth Country Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They posted ten more assists than Covenant Day's also-impressive total of ten.

When it comes to explaining why Covenant Day lost, don't look at Luke Thompson. Despite the final result, he shot 73% from the field en route to 28 points. Douglas Smith was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Forsyth Country Day's record now sits at 7-0. As for Covenant Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
