4A Region II District 13 recap Sept. 26, 2012
Greenville moved up to 861 from 901 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region II District 13.
The Lions made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,388 from 9,976.
Sherman's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bearcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dru Smith has thrown for 1114 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Jt Luper has 21 catches for 362 yards. Tre Mask leads the league in rushing with 399 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Wylie takes on Lovejoy. As it stands, the Pirates are in fourth, while the Leopards are in first.
Sherman suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from first to third in 4A Region II District 13.
