Basketball Recap: Kossuth Starts Season with Victory at Home

Kossuth took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hatley Tigers 77-45. The victory continues a trend for the Aggies in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Emma Franks had a dynamite game, going 8-for-9 en route to 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Mckee, who shot 56% from the field on her way to 14 points.

Coming up, Kossuth will face off against Itawamba Agricultural at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hatley, they will host West Lowndes at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday.
