Piedmont Community Charter waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The matchup marked the Patriots' most dominant win of the season so far.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Piedmont Community Charter was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-7, 25-9.

Madelyn Wyatt paced Piedmont Community Charter's offense, picking up seven kills. Wyatt got some help from Lily Cochcroft and her 14 assists. Wyatt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Piedmont Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
