 Even though they lost, Centaurus  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Widefield struck out 12 times.
 Meanwhile, Northglenn was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They lost  15-4 to Broomfield.
 Centaurus' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Northglenn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
 Centaurus took their  victory against Northglenn  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023 by a conclusive  16-6. Will Centaurus repeat their success,  or does  Northglenn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
