After two games on the road, Morristown-Hamblen East is heading back home. They will take on the Science Hill Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Morristown-Hamblen East will be strutting in after a win while Science Hill will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Greeneville scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Morristown-Hamblen East still came out on top. Morristown-Hamblen East managed a 63-59 win over Greeneville.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morristown-Hamblen East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harmony Sullivan, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Sullivan has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times she's played. Hudson Cloninger was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Science Hill's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 42-34 to Elizabethton.
Morristown-Hamblen East's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Science Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
