The Roosevelt Teddies are taking a road trip to face off against the Apple Valley Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt has given up an average of 9.3 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Wednesday, Roosevelt needed a bit of extra time to put away Blake. They won by a run and slipped past the Bears 13-12. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Teddies considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Sydney Erickson was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Erickson, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
Roosevelt always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Apple Valley made easy work of Richfield on Wednesday and carried off a 12-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Amelia Duran spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on ten hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Duran, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Grace Jackson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Apple Valley pushed their record up to 5-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Roosevelt, their record is now 4-8.
