Hazard had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Harlan County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-26. That result is just more of the same for Hazard, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Hazard a 1-0 record and starting Harlan County off at 0-1.
Next week, Hazard take on Letcher County Central at 7:00 PM. As for Harlan County, they will face of against Tates Creek.
