South Glens Falls is 7-2 against Queensbury since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will take on the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. South Glens Falls is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.
South Glens Falls proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 18) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Glens Falls get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Bulldogs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Not much got past Isabelle Ames, who gave up just five hits to keep Glens Falls off the board. Ames has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, South Glens Falls' win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Autumn Roberts, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double was Roberts' first of the season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Queensbury ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Scotia-Glenville. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Queensbury also got a great performance from Lillian Smith as she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Smith a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Hannah Blanchard, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Queensbury pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Glens Falls, their record now sits at 7-1.
South Glens Falls took their win against Queensbury in their previous meeting on April 7th by a conclusive 14-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
