Softball Recap: Safford Has No Trouble Against Thatcher

While Safford put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Thatcher. The Bulldogs blew past the Eagles 9-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Keya Arbizo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jaydyn Coy, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Safford now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Thatcher, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Safford wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-7 defeat against Show Low on the 9th. As for Thatcher, they have also already played their next game, a 14-3 loss against Valley Christian on the 8th.
