Kansas won the last time they faced Fairland and things went their way on Saturday too. Kansas blew past Fairland 11-2. Considering the Comets have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Kansas is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. Fairland is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Coming up, Kansas will look to defend their home field on Monday against Cascia Hall at 4:30 p.m. Cascia Hall has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something Kansas will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fairland, they will face off against Ketchum at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ketchum's pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so Fairland's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
