In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cooper Nash, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Burlington Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Thales Academy Rolesville, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Thales Academy Rolesville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .501.
