Softball Recap: Adams-Friendship Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

While Adams-Friendship put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Mauston. The Green Devils put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Green Devils have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Riley Weaver made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, Kena Kirsenlohr was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kerrigan Danowski was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Adams-Friendship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Adams-Friendship is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games.
