The Watertown Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They suffered a tough 71-50 loss at the hands of Seymour. Watertown was down 56-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
It was another big night for Joey Carrafiello, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Seymour. Carrafiello is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Jaquan Ellis was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Watertown has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season. As for Seymour, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5.
