On Friday, Akron-Westfield are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lawton-Bronson at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Akron-Westfield might have drawn first blood against Westwood last Friday, but it was Westwood who got the last laugh. Akron-Westfield had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 6-7 to Westwood.
Meanwhile, Lawton-Bronson had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 15-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alta/Aurelia.
