Steeleville has struggled against Sesser-Valier/Waltonville recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Steeleville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lilly Hepp, who scored six points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Cole, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Steeleville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
Steeleville will head out on the road to take on New Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully New Athens focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 two weeks ago. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnston City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
