Zaiden Davis Delivers Electric Performance Vs Alamogordo
Zaiden Davis's big game helped extend Centennial's winning streak to six on Thursday. Davis did his part (and then some), rushing for 175 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 259 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Alamogordo, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davis. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Davis saw the Tigers), he rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes.

Nathanael Best Turns in Season-Best Performance
Alamogordo came up short on Thursday despite Nathanael Best delivering his best game to date. Best's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Best and Alamogordo will venture away from home to challenge Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Best up against the Cavemen/Cavegirls' star signal caller Kason Perez. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

A Season-Best Performance from Lennis Washington Leads Organ Mountain over Carlsbad
Organ Mountain was led to victory by Lennis Washington, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Washington picked up 133 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Organ Mountain's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. Washington and Organ Mountain will square off against Clovis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dylan Hergenreder Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Alamogordo had to settle for second even though Dylan Hergenreder put up the best numbers he has all season. Hergenreder rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 80 yards.
Hergenreder and Alamogordo will face off against Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Hergenreder up against the Cavemen/Cavegirls' star running back Brock Wright. Will the match be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Xavier Perez Dazzles in Organ Mountain Win
The second Organ Mountain player making an appearance here is Xavier Perez, and for good reason. He threw for 252 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 38 yards.
For the year, Perez has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 87 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 70.57 rushing yards.
