The Canon City Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Window Rock 61-35. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Canon City as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Canon City was led to victory by Brennor Jackson and Wyatt Turner. Jackson scored 16 points, while Turner scored 16 points. Brayden Walters was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Canon City's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Window Rock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Canon City is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Pueblo West at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Window Rock will be home for the holidays to greet Alchesay at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
