They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over Kwigillingok. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Kongiganak has posted yet this season.
Kongiganak was led to victory by Gracelyn Miller and Maegan Miller. Miller scored 13 points, while Miller scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season.
Kongiganak's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Kwigillingok, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
