The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions on February 6th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
FAMU DRS pushed their score all the way to 63 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Franklin County 69-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (57), FAMU DRS still had to take the loss.
Fred Ervin put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaydence Triggs, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, L.E.A.D. Academy suffered a tough 58-33 defeat at the hands of the Crusaders on Friday. L.E.A.D. Academy was down 48-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
FAMU DRS dropped their record down to 2-21 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.
