The Lincoln Lancers pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 84-57 loss at the hands of Ossining. While losing is never fun, Lincoln can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 701st, while Ossining is ranked 287th).
Sebastian DeCosta had an outrageously good game for Ossining as he scored 19 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Donte Williams, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Ossining, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.
Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ossining, they will head out on the road to square off against Greeley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Ossining focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
