String Theory lost against the Penncrest Lions back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. String Theory fell 56-43 to Penncrest. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points String Theory has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why String Theory lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dawud Jones. Despite the final result, he shot 4-for-6 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for Jones. Jason Pezzetti was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
