The Floresville Tigers and the Marble Falls Mustangs will round out the year against one another at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday at. Floresville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Floresville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 73-22 victory over Pearsall at home. With that victory, Floresville brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Floresville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordin Johns, who scored 15 points. Johns hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jia Johns, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Marble Falls had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Blanco 44-20. With Marble Falls ahead 28-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Floresville pushed their record up to 13-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Marble Falls, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-15.
