The First Assembly Christian Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harding Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Assembly Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Last Friday, First Assembly Christian was able to grind out a solid win over the Gryphons, taking the game 60-53.
Meanwhile, Harding Academy put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Westminster Academy as Harding Academy made off with a 41-21 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Harding Academy as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Harding Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabi Ruvalcaba, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emory Miller, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
First Assembly Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. As for Harding Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.
First Assembly Christian strolled past the Lions in their previous meeting on Monday by a score of 59-43. Will First Assembly Christian repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
