Ava Johnson was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Maeve Madura was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Morgan's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Coginchaug Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on Avon at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
