Justin Jean Louis Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Gateway had to settle for second even though Justin Jean Louis put up the best numbers he has all season. Jean Louis rushed for 278 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (105.7) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 97-yard run.
Gateway's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. Jean Louis and Gateway will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Parrish Community Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Jermaine Edwards
Parrish Community picked up their third consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Jermaine Edwards. Edwards' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 144 rushing yards.
Parrish Community's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Edwards and Parrish Community will face off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
