The Juniata Valley Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Curwensville Golden Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Although Juniata Valley took the loss, they still got scores from Logan Brantner and Luke Uplinger.
Meanwhile, Curwensville's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 34-7 defeat at the hands of Moshannon Valley.
Even if they lost, Curwensville's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Blaine Witherite and his two sacks.
Juniata Valley's defeat on Friday dropped their record down to 5-2. Curwensville has traveled a rocky road this season, as they've lost six of their first seven matchups, which gives them a 1-6 record this season.
Juniata Valley suffered a grim 36-15 defeat to Curwensville in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Thankfully for Juniata Valley, Dan McGarry (who threw for 333 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time.
