River View hasn't had much luck against Liberty Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Patriots at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (River View has ten straight victories, Liberty Christian has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
River View's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Goldendale as they made off with a 16-0 win. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The team relied heavily on Bree Stacy, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Overstreet, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
River View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .821. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .552 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Liberty Christian lost 12-5 to DeSales last Tuesday.
Adeline Roy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those hits marked the first that she got this season.
River View pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 12 runs thus far. As for Liberty Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. River View has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .670. However, it's not like Liberty Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .490. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
River View might still be hurting after the 15-1 loss they got from Liberty Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
